It’s been some time since I have last had the pleasure of performing with a band, especially when it comes to the branch of my music that leans a little more rock n’ roll, AKA “First Sign Of Anything“. Furthermore, when Keshama and I started spending more and more time in New Zealand I didn’t expect that I’d be able to find a band of like minded musicians in the rural Far North. Much to my surprise I have been able to do just that.
I’ve recently teamed up with drummer Andy Morrison, guitarist Simon Whiteside, and bassist Billy Kristian, who is an NZ legend in his own right.
We are currently working up a set of material based largely around the tracks on my album, First Sign Of Anything, but hope to expand the set to include more existing tracks of mine, a few covers for fun, and with a little luck and inspiration, some new original tracks and collaborations.
We will be performing our first show at a private event this weekend in Peria, New Zealand. Really looking forward to it. More shows to follow soon.

The band is currently performing under the name, the John Oszajca Band. However, that is expected to change some time soon.
